Cash rebates for clunker appliances will appear in November for Ohio


The cash for clunker cars ended on August 24, but another government tax rebate program will hit Ohio by the end of October. The Cash for Clunker Appliance rebate program is in process of getting final approval by Ohio lawmakers.

If you own appliances such as refrigerators, ovens, microwaves or other appliances that do not carry the Energy Star logo, then you are probably spending as much as $400 more every year on electricity. Refrigerators alone can consume more of your total energy bill than any other household appliance.
