Best Events and Festivals (In and) Beyond Cleveland – June Edition

Even though the calendar says summer doesn’t start until June 20 or 21, to the rest of us, Summer begins on Memorial Day. And since this year, Memorial Day also happened to be the last day of May, summer is officially here!

Get the most out of your summer this year by attending as many festivals beyond Cleveland as you can. With local festivals, parades and outdoor activities for every age and interest, there’s bound to be something every weekend in June!

Check out 1 or all of these festive opportunities to spend time with your family and friends, and make some new ones too through volunteering.

June Events & Festivals In and Beyond Cleveland 2010:

6/4 Friday – 7:30pm State Theater –  Fame The Musical (Cleveland Metropolitan School District All-City Musical)

6/5 Saturday – Oct 31, 2010 – Times vary –  340 Euclid Ave, Cleveland Bodies…The Exhibition (it’s in Cleveland, but this is a really awesome exhibition to see!)

6/12 Saturday – Parade the Circle – University Circle, a free interactive & multi-cultural festival

6/27 Sunday – 12 p.m. – Rock and Soul Festival – Rock n Roll Hall of Fame

6/19 – Saturday – 10am – 6pm – Clifton Arts and Music Festival – Lakewood. Featuring several of Northeast Ohio’s best juried artists and musicians. Family friendly and free. Food & drink are available.

6/18 – 6/20 – Friday to Sunday – Duct Tape Festival – Avon. Yes, you read it right, a festival celebrating Duct tape, that ultra sticky & multipurpose tape that was born in this Cleveland metropolitan suburb. You’ll be amazed of the art & fashion that one can do with this sticky apparatus. Food, games, rides, and even a hometown Duct tape parade showcasing the best in Duck Tape desgned floats to be seen anywhere! Don’t miss it!
